The Combined Berner Group is well aware of its responsibilities and aims to carry out its work in a way which is compatible with the environment and nature as well as beneficial to mankind. At Berner, a sense of responsibility, fairness together with social and cultural commitment are not just empty words.
In direct sales Berner uses extremely fuel-efficient vehicles. To avoid driving unnecessary distances, sales representatives are trained in time and area management. A recent example of meeting strict environmental standards is the new, fully automated pallet warehouse at Berner France – the first logistics center to receive the HQE environmental seal of approval.
Both the Berner Holding and the group companies support a range of charitable, cultural and sporting projects. Where possible and appropriate, for example, Berner works together with handicapped workshops. However the Sunshine Gospel Choir in Italy and the children’s theater in Künzelsau also receive our support. Besides this, in many countries, Berner maintains close ties with schools and universities.
