What distinguishes you

  • Successfully completed studies in Indus­trial Engineering and/or Management, Technical Business Admini­stration or similar quali­fication
  • Several years of work experience
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Autonomous and self-dependent way of working
  • Conceptual way of thinking and inter­cultural competence

  • Implementation of sourcing strategy for allocated product groups
  • Collaboration with the product management and efficient reali­zation of common projects
  • Supplier management and added value develop­ment (require­ments, supplier audit, supplier eva­luation and search for alter­native suppliers)
  • Optimization of the supply chain (e.g. through process opti­mi­zation, consignment stock, EDI connection, drop shipment etc.)
  • Procurement market research according to the business objectives
  • Selection of high-performance suppliers as well as price or condition negotiation
  • Understanding of cost structure of assigned product group including cost drivers for raw material, impact of currency fluc­tuation etc. and development of strategies to mitigate risks
  • Discovery of new products and inno­vations as well as develop­ment of product ideas together with the supplier and product management
  • Visit to (technical) exhibitions and suppliers world­wide
  • Contract and risk management
